An originally conceived, directed, and choreographed outdoor theatre concert experience in Sonoma, CA with Transcendence Theatre Company.  

Using new arrangements and medleys from a "summer playlist" of popular tunes from the 60's through today, I challenged myself to build a narrative around a group of characters aching to break out of their isolation and loneliness. An invitation to a Block Party becomes the focus for the characters to both celebrate community as well as resolve established conflicts and storylines. Meanwhile the Block Party is actually just a reflection of the live concert that the audience was experiencing in real time.
