The annual fashion show of Sonoma locals designing outfits made only from recycled and upcycled materials had become a major fundraising event for the Sonoma Community Center. But the 2020 quarantine forced me to think outside the box.



With the challenge of producing a runway show virtually, I decided to take the runway to various wonderful locations throughout Sonoma that would visually help support each designer's creations. The pre-recorded runway show was the broadcast live with a select panel of recycled artists as judges viewing and commenting from across the country. The winners were then announced at the end.
