Sure! They can’t seem to deliver the mail without losing billions of dollars (and the mail). I’ve got an idea…let’s put them in charge of ALL HEALTHCARE! How could that POSSIBLY go wrong?!?!

Obama was briefed on the crisis at least 18 times, including a National Security Council session on “hostage contingencies” just hours before the snipers fired their shots. But the crisis seems to have crystallized for the administration on Friday, after the White House got word that Capt. Richard Phillips had tried to escape from his captors.

Uh, exactly what more does a President need to know than pirates (aka “terrorists”) board a merchant vessel and take the seamen hostage for ransom? Too bad Obama wasn’t in the region. Had he not been busy kissing Hugo Chavez’s communist ass, I’m quite certain he would have flashed his African brothers that winning smile, clasped their khat-stained hands and given them a big, peace-loving hug. Can’t we all just get along?

Hours later, senior NSC officials met in the White House Situation Room to draft a series of options to deliver to Obama. Later that night, Obama appears to have issued his first order authorizing the use of lethal force.

But military officials said the White House still hoped for a nonviolent end to the standoff.

“The president wanted the opportunity to say, ‘Have we tried everything to make this reach a peaceful conclusion?’ ” said the senior military official. “He wanted to be a check valve so that everybody was looking at all options.”

You’re fired Obama. I’m POTUS now. Here’s my command: shoot the Somali pirate assholes dead. Hang their dead carcasses from the bow of the Navy warship and let the seagulls peck their eyes out. Invite Newsweek over to write about it. Tell the world that the next boat full of skinnies to get within half a mile of an American vessel will be helping the Navy with “real world testing.” If they can get away, they’re free to skedaddle their narrow asses back to their shitty Somali rathole.

The Pittsburgh Steelers, who by virtue of hard work, excellent team play, stellar draft choices, responsible investing of free agents, careful hiring of coaches and excellent community service and commitment to their fans, has prospered greatly during the past 30 years and have won six Super Bowl Trophies. But President Barack Hussain Obama’s plan calls for the Pittsburgh Steelers to carry the larger burden of the NFL’s less successful teams. Obama went on to further proclaim, “In these difficult times we are all in this to work together. We must reclaim the NFL Championship Dream for every team, for every city and for every fan.”

“My plan will not affect 31 of the 32 teams in the league.” Obama assures. That’s over 95 percent of the teams in the NFL will not have to worry about loosing any Super Bowl Trophies. “The worst teams in the NFL and the teams that can’t seem to get a break and win a championship will no longer have to worry about going without a title.” Obama promises. “We are a country and league of hope. We all need to make a change. It does not matter the color of the teams uniforms, the personal decisions that the teams make or their performance but rather if they are a member of this great American league.”

The Super Bowl XLIII trophy will be redistributed to the 0-16 Detroit Lions. Through no fault of their own incompetence, the Lions could not manage a victory all season and this trophy will help ease the pain of their lack of performance and give them hope once again. The redistribution of Super Bowl XL trophy will go directly to the Steeler’s division rival the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals who also have fallen on hard times have never won a Super Bowl. This victory will bring a smile to hundreds of Bengal fans all over the world as they can now celebrate. Finally, one of the Steeler’s two Super Bowl victories over the Dallas Cowboys will go back to the Cowboys since the league needs to provide hope in the face of difficulty and provide hope in the face of uncertainty. This is a heavy burden for the Steelers but together we can all prosper.

All hope is not lost for Pittsburgh fans, Barack Hussain Obama has another plan in place. Obama has meet with MLB and commissioner Bud Selig on a similar plan. The New York Yankees will redistribute two of their world series trophies to the Pittsburgh Pirates as a supplement to their loosing 16 straight seasons and counting. This plan will help stimulate the Pirates and enable them to regain the American Dream. Barack Hussain Obama will be meeting with the NHL and Michael Phelps in the upcoming weeks as this issue is high on his agenda for “Hope and Change.”

A very interesting read.  So sad that most journalism is dead and that the issues this man raised never saw the light of day until now.  Sadder still that someone with this guys brains and savvy isn’t sitting at a table with some of his peers working on a solution to this problem.  And I will bet that it wouldn’t involve umpteen trillion dollars.

“It’s preposterous that we can’t have a presidential debate in the middle of this economic crisis. We had a presidential campaign in 1864, when Sherman was marching on Atlanta. We had a presidential election in 1944, when D-Day was going on in Normandy,” he said. “We can have a debate on Friday. In fact, it’s probably the most important thing McCain and them could be doing, would be to debate the issues.”

In situations such as this, I often ask myself, “Self, what would you think if the Democrats did the same thing?” In this instance, the answer would be “have a massive heart attack.” You see, “Sen.” Barack Obama is wet behind his massive ears. The idea that he can contribute anything of substance to a discussion concerning the current financial crisis is what is “preposterous.”

What they should be doing is the job they’re both being paid to do, work on our problems. As one of them will be the next president, you’d think they’d both want to be involved. One wants the work…the other just wants the job. But hey, when your legislative career amounts to little more than answering the roll call with “present,” what the hell do you expect?

Sept. 26, 2008 – At least someone in the press gets it…

Sen. Barack Obama wants you to believe he’s the “hope” candidate…that guy that will take our nation back to prosperity and peace.

Then Obama gets close to putting Clinton out of her (and our) misery. He then turns into the poker player that craps his pants when he gets a good hand. His most recent gaffe leads me to believe that the man is unfit to even lead a Cub Scout pack. That has to be the case if he takes his children to church to hear the vile, hate-filled jackass Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Obama’s one to talk about “clinging to religion” with regard to being bitter about economic circumstances. He need look no further than his nearest mirror to see what that looks like.

I can’t wait for this rube to go into the general election. He’ll make Mike Dukakis or Walter Mondale look like they had it all together.

“This is an outrageous breach of security and privacy, even from an administration that has shown little regard for either over the last eight years,” said Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton in a statement.

Oh…my side…hurting…from laughing so hard! This is priceless! So the head of the firm involved in the breach of Obama’s passport files…is an Obama advisor and financial supporter!! Mmmmmwwwaaaaaahahahahahahaha!!!!! Oh, but wait…maybe the Bush administration and the G.O.P. is soooo eeeeevil that they created all this in order to shield themselves from their dastardly deed. Nah. Mmmmmwwwaaaaaahahahahahahaha!!!!! And these people are gonna win the White House in 2008? They’re so incompetent, they’d be lucky to win a $5 scratch off at the Quikee Mart…and that’s only because it doesn’t require them to actually know how to do anything.

Since the federal government is completely incapable of doing anything that requires lots of highly skilled, motivated people, like maintaining complicated computer systems, they probably have no less than two hundred contracted computer companies working for them at any one time.

So three of these “John Does” look at Sen. Barack Obama’s passport file over the last three months. Suddenly, it’s President George Bush’s fault.

About Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s comments, Sen. Obama said:

“When these statements first came to my attention, it was at the beginning of my presidential campaign. I made it clear at the time that I strongly condemned his comments,” Obama wrote. “But because Rev. Wright was on the verge of retirement, and because of my strong links to the Trinity faith community, where I married my wife and where my daughters were baptized, I did not think it appropriate to leave the church.”

Oh really! But it was fine to allow this hate-filled a-hole to remain on your campaign staff?! So, Sen. Obama…he was an adviser to your campaign until you were reminded of his comments this week? Let me get this straight, Sen. Cotton Candy…you knew he’s made these comments, but you didn’t tell him to hit the bricks until the shit hit the fan?! Wow…you’re about change, all right. Change when you get caught with a firebrand bigot under the tent. What’s truly appalling to me is that no one has the balls to ask Sen. Cotton Candy why Rev. Grand Wizard was EVER on Sen. Cotton Candy’s campaign staff. He’s admitting that he knew about these statements, is he not?

And in a 2003 sermon, Wright said of America’s treatment of African-Americans: “The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing ‘God Bless America.’ No, no, no, God damn America, that’s in the Bible for killing innocent people.”God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme.”

He’s a regular prophet! No wonder Obama made him an adviser! What better man to put on a presidential campaign staff than an uber-bigot! Even more highly-educated insight from the Rev. Jeremiah:

“We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagasaki, and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye,” he said. “We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant. Because the stuff we have done overseas has now brought right back into our own front yards. America’s chickens are coming home to roost.”

Ahhh…look what came home to roost now, Reverend. Thanks for showing America the sort of “uniter” Sen. Cotton Candy chooses to put on his campaign staff as and adviser.

Not to be outdone, Sen. Clinton’s dried up old friend Geraldine Ferraro, put her gigantic foot in her mouth not once – but twice. Quote Ferraro:

“If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman, he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.”

Yeah, that makes TOTAL sense Geraldine. He’s black…obviously that gives him a leg up in running for president, what, with all the black presidents we’ve had in the past. No sooner than Sen. Clinton “repudiated” Ferraro’s comments, the senile windbag Ferraro redoubled her efforts to look like a tired old Democrat bigot, saying she didn’t regret making the comments and was “talking to the facts.”

It’s great to see these two Democrat presidential candidates deal with the demons they’ve employed. How nice it is to watch them wrestle with the issues…issues like getting to fire morons. I wonder if they followed the proper government guidelines for firing bigots? Maybe there should be an investigation. You wouldn’t want to get sued by Rev. Wright and Ms. Ferraro for wrongful termination!
